Photography is my passion; it makes me feel alive. My subject matter is eclectic. My subjects range from wild flowers to orchids; from pick and shovels to the entrance doors of elegant homes. I attempt to find the extra ordinary in the ordinary.
I live in Burlington and the Niagara escarpment with its many conservation areas is a constant presence in my life. It is a photographer’s haven. As Burlington is surrounded by farmland, I have the pleasure to observe the changing seasons as they are reflected in the rural landscape. There are fields of spring, bathed in thin morning light displaying green hues that carry the promise of the future harvest; then there are the late summer evenings when barns throw long shadows against a crimson sky; later on arrive the crisp days of fall when the waves of Lake Ontario roar toward Burlington Beach and the V-shaped flock of Canada geese cruise overhead; eventually winter icicles cover the branches of trees and brown stubble in the snow-covered fields transform into sculptures of singular beauty.
I am a member of FASM ( fine arts society of Milton ) and have for the past three years successfully participated in the Annual Studio Tour.

My photographs have appeared numerous times on the cover of Silver & Gold Magazine. I am a volunteer at the Halton Region Museum where I am photographing artifacts for the digital inventory of the collection. In addition, I am using my camera to map the changing land-use of Halton County to aid future researchers and historians gain better understanding of the changes that rapid urbanization is bringing to this region.
I have also participated in several juried shows. In December 2008 and 2009 I was a participant in the juried photography show at Visual Arts Mississauga; summer 2009 I participated in the juried show at the John B. Aird Gallery, 900 Bay Street Toronto.
